Maureen aged 8 years is the 6th born in a family of 8 children. She is severely malnourished and has a weak neck muscles, very weak legs and can’t do herself anything. Sher mother stopped physiotherapy services 6 years ago since she is the only bread winner in the family. Her husband is alcoholic, drinking illicit brew and hence the family is in dire need of food. Maureen needs immediate placement, occupational therapy and treatment for malnutrition.
