Journey: The Ed Colina Foundation is supported entirely by private contributions and receives no government funding. It has been recognized as a tax-exempt charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code since 2009.
The formal organization and Board of Directors were created in January, 2009 to by American friends and colleagues of Ed Colina. The Board ensures that the Foundation’s operations are both socially and financially responsible.
