Matt Curtin and Ed leave for Kenya at the end of August. Among many stops to the Foundation’s projects in Nairobi, the two will also board a UNHCR plane to Kakuma, the host community of Kakuma Refugee Camp. Kakuma is located in Northern Kenya near the border of South Sudan.
They will visit Kakuma Mission Hospital, a 67 bed hospital, and deliver simple but necessary items: Rechargeable Blood Pressure Cuffs, Rechargeable SP02 Monitors, Glucometers and hospital bed sheets.
You can help by donating one or more of these items or by sending cash. Bedsheets are about $25 each and will be purchased from the larger town of Kitale. The other items, we will deliver directly at the time of our visit.
