Meshack’s Progress

April 2, 2019 by Ed Colina

Meet Meshack, born July 2014. He came to the Center in July 2018 (about 9 months ago) weighing 12 KGS. After a boost to his nutrition, he now weighs a whopping 13.7 KGS. He lives in a one room rented room with his brother, father and mother. Meshack’s father is a casual worker and his mom works as house help. Meshack was diagnosed with mild CP and delayed milestones. His left side is partially paralyzed. He could not speak or sit on a chair. He couldn’t hold a cup, wipe his mouth.  Now he is able to all of these things.  When he came to the O Center, he scooted on his bottom but can now walk without support, can follow instructions and ask for water and food by pointing.  He will join Manza Academy in May of this year!
